Production facility "Drvni centar Glina" Ltd.

The company "Drvni centar Glina" Ltd. was founded in January 2006 as a part of Sherif Group. It is located in the area of the old sawmill in the town of Glina, which is now entirely refurbished, and further funds are invested in its modernization.

The sawmill is fully equipped to manufacture the entire asortment of the primary processing of lumber, and is mostly oriented to the production of products for large markets such as the European Union (Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands, Italy, Slovenia), Dubai, Vietnam, Taiwan, China and our biggest and most important market, Egypt.

The yearly sawing capacity of the sawmill is more than 70.000 m3 of roundwood, and in the sawmill's perimeter there are also 8 wood dryers, each with 125 m3 of capacity, 5 steam rooms with a total capacity of 400 m3 and a boiler room with a power capacity of 2.7 and 1.7 MW.

We produce the whole range of products that sawmills usually produce according to the set standards but we also have special orders such as:

sawn timber – fresh and dry 8-10%
surfaced timber based on agreed dimensions
elements for the production of panels, wooden floors, furniture, rustic flooring etc.
we have specialized in the production of door frames
wood waste - biomass

At the end of 2011 we launched a production line for classic wood flooring and rustic flooring.

The final objective of "Drvni centar Glina" Ltd. is to improve production in sawmills, which will provide smaller nearby sawmills the possibility to deliver timber that will then be dried, processed and sold here, as the demand for dry and surfaced timber and the elements keeps growing.

Production facility - "Gorski Kotar 1" , Malo Selo

In July 2011, the company "SHERIF EXPORT-IMPORT" Ltd. purchased the old sawmill Malo Selo in Gorski kotar. It became a part of Sherif Group under the name of "Gorski kotar 1". This production facility is continuously invested in with the aim of increasing its production capacity. This facility processes around 30.000 m3 of beech and fir roundwood.
